Lunglei
Lunglei is one of the District of Mizoram Sate, India. The area of Lunglei measures 66.00km2 in unban area and 4,470km2 in rural area. The total area measured 4,536 km2. The population of Lunglei District is 1,61,428 and there are 33,058 houses.
For better administration of the government Lunglei District is divided to different parts such as Tehsils/Blocks/Community Development Blocks (R.D Blocks). According to the administration of India Block or R.D Block is next to Tehsil. One thing we have to know is that in some state of India R.D.Block and Tehsil functions at the same level.
For more information to those who’s not familiar, R.D.Block are the administration in rural areas and is function under the supervision of each Block Development Officer. R.D.Block functions through gram panchayat and village level administration.
