Chapchar Kut, the biggest cultural festival of Mizo which used to be organized on Friday of the first week of every March was organized on 7th, March, 2025 at C. Thuamluaia Mual, Lunglei. Pi Lalrinpuii, Hon’ble Minister of Art & Culture, Health & Family Welfare Department etc. Govt. of Mizoram graced the Festival Programme as ‘Kut Nu’ [Chief Guest] and Pi Navneet Mann IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Lunglei as ‘Kut thlengtu’ [Hostess of the Festival].
Owing to the diligent intervention and planning skill of Pi Navneet Mann, D.C. Lunglei & Chairman, Chapcharkut Organizing Committee, Lunglei District and Pi Rochuangkimi Khenglawt, Addl. D.C, Lunglei, the festival becomes a blessing for ODOP Entrepreneurs that a specially designed ‘Sales-out Stall of ODOP’ was established among other food stalls. In this event, various ODOP Products were displayed, and sold out to the public. In this only one day short festival programme, participating ODOP Entrepreneurs earned handsome amount of revenues from their items which may be seen as follows.
